Moments Ever Consuming

The very thought of you

bestows 
dancing butterflies within;

fluttering about endlessly.

Deeply,

always engaging

and ever consuming.

Your beautiful hands 
wrap gently around 
the nape 
of my neck.

As I gaze upon your face

I find myself swimming 
in a sea of blue;

yearning 
for your soft lips 
to leave a kiss; 
never 
to be forsaken.

You lean into me;

a delicate press of our lips collide

and in that moment, 
time 
stands still.

The warmth of your kiss,
the warmth of your bare skin
and the warmth of your hold
can only be declared as this;
a longing,
tugs at my heart strings...
